relationship between an ‘American Linden’ tree and a built office space. The projects was a collaborative project between artist Natalie Jeremijenko, 16 environmental design students, Studio NYL, and Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art.
The design was approved for a temporary art installation permit and a full building by the city of Boulder. As a temporary installation the design utilizes the idea of modularity for ease of assembly and disassembly. The students designed, fabricated and constructed the office space with a variety of materials and construction methods. The structure follows all federal, state, and local safety protocol and aquired a full building permit from the City of Boulder, CO.
