LANGSTROTH BEEHIVE
The Langstroth Beehive has functioned well for over 150 years as the most common beehive in North America. Knowing this, the beehive redesign is developed around the existing problems and struggles of the beekeepers' interaction with the current design.
The new design allows for easy disassembly of the hive and organization of the honey collection process. The base allows for the beekeeper to simply use the components of the lid of the hive to create a stand for the current box being observed or worked on.
